The hubbub has died down precisely because it's no longer election season. Just wait another 13-18 months and it will be in vogue again.

<a href=""></a>

Fox never said this for "Embryonic" Stem Cell - he just "Stem Cell" - Adult Stem Cell is a far better research method and one does not have to clone a human embryo to develop replacement parts- the ETC's usually become cancerous after a period of time- bottom line ETC don't work very well -
the non-harmful AST do work quite well

ANYWAY
embryo then to the...
development into a child... and then a young adult, ...tax paying citizen who can then be given a rifle and sent off to IRAQ -
THIS is the reason to ban stem cell research ...wha...?
??
thats what your talking about, right?

no. To those of us who are affected by this, we still fight everyday. Just because the media isn;t covering it as much doesn't mean that it is over. They just had an article this past week about heart transplants becoming obsolete due to advances in stem cell research. but judging by the thumbs down, you are looking for agreement and not answers. Enjoy

Trickle-down works with technology.
None of this would exist without rich, early-adopters.

Michael J Fox knew exactly what he was doing. You are right, Stem Cell research was just a political tool. It goes to show how little people understand the issues before they vote for a candidate or a party.

Actually none of this would exist without the US government pumping in money into places like MIT where the grounds for most of this stuff was created. When the technology became cheap enough to be used to private individuals and corporations, only then did the rich early-adopters really adopt the stuff.

<a href=""></a>

Stem cell research is still on the table. Sadly, our current policies put us way behind the rest of the world in this research.

I have taken action recently writing my congress people, asking them to move forward with legislation that would put our research facilities on a more level field with those of the EU.

Check with the US House website on all current proposed bills. Do we need to waste more money on advertising to get these things passed?

This device and others like it have the potential to increase the impact of popular power and organization. To hell with trickle-down theories and market ideas, what matters is how the device is used.
